Financial entities are permitted to execute transfers of funds from abroad to the Central Bank of Bolivia's account at Standard Chartered Bank, New York, for operations involving embassies and international organizations within a period of up to 90 days from receipt of the transfer. This regulation amends previous directives by extending the allowable timeframe for these specific transactions. All prior provisions contrary to this circular are hereby repealed.

FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT TO: FINANCIAL ENTITIES SUBJECT: TRANSFERS FROM ABROAD FOR EMBASSIES AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Ladies and Gentlemen:
In complement to the External Circulars of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) SGRAL No. 034/2007 of November 16, 2007, SGRAL No. 003/2008 of January 11, 2008, and SGDB No. 036/2010 of December 15, 2010, it is hereby ordered that, effective immediately, transfers of funds from abroad to the BCB's account at Standard Chartered Bank, New York, corresponding to operations for Embassies and International Organizations, complying with the provisions established in points 1.4 and 2.4 of Circular 034/2007 and points 1.3 and 2.3 of Circular 003/2008, may be executed within a period of up to 90 days from the receipt of the transfer abroad by the financial entity.
All provisions contrary to this Circular are hereby repealed.
