The Central Bank of Bolivia mandates that financial institutions participating in the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) include fund transfers to the Treasury Single Account in US dollars (Account 5970) initiated on behalf of clients within the LIP framework, effective June 10, 2015. These transfers must be executed using operation code E46 during the hours of 07:00 to 18:30. Participating entities are required to add this specific operation to their valid digital certificates to facilitate these transactions.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies participants in the Integrated Payment Settlement System (LIP) that, starting June 10, 2015, fund transfer operations to the Treasury Single Account in US dollars - 5970 carried out by Financial System Entities at the request of their clients, will be included in the Payment Settlement System - LIP with the following characteristics:

In this regard, participating entities must request the addition of the aforementioned operation to their valid digital certificates to perform the transfers in the LIP System.
The aforementioned modifications are part of the Operational and IT Guide of the LIP System (v.1.0).
