Stipulation and Consent Order: Patriot Insurance Company

The Vermont Department of Financial Regulation issued a Consent Order against Patriot Insurance Company to formally resolve regulatory violations through a binding stipulation. The order incorporates the insurer's statement of facts, legal conclusions, and agreed-upon remedial measures as official findings, while explicitly warning that noncompliance will trigger additional legal action, sanctions, and penalties under Vermont law. The Commissioner retains full authority to investigate any unresolved violations and address consumer complaints, ensuring ongoing regulatory oversight beyond this settlement.
