The Iraqi Securities Commission suspends trading of shares for five listed companies—Ashur Bank, National Islamic Bank, Ishtar Hotels, Al-Hamra Insurance, and Al-Khaleej Insurance—on the Iraq Stock Exchange Regular and Second Markets due to failure to submit first-quarter 2026 financial data. Trading for twelve other entities, including Electronic Industries and North Bank, continues on the platform for non-disclosing companies until outstanding fines are paid and data requirements are met. This decision is based on Article 6-b of Regulatory Bylaw No. 8 regarding the disclosure of listed companies.
