19 February 2025 TERMINATION OF LONG-TERM INSURANCE BUSINESS The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) exists to supervise financial institutions and financial services, and to advise the Minister of Finance on matters relating to financial institutions and financial services in terms of the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority Act, 2001 (No. 3 of 2001). The Registrar, in accordance with the Long-term Insurance Act, 1998 (Act No. 5 of 1998), hereby informs the public that the registration of the following individuals as insurance agents, re-insurance agents, insurance brokers, or reinsurance brokers (collectively referred to as insurance intermediaries) has been cancelled in terms of section 59(3)(b) of the Long-term Insurance Act, 1998.
