"On Amendments to the Decision 'On Approval of the Regulation on the Procedure for Competitive Distribution of Grants and Credits Attracted for Microfinance through Microcreditbank Between Credit Unions and Microcredit Organizations'"

In accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Information Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1995, No. 12, Article 247) and "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2013, No. 1, Article 1), the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan decides:

1. Amendments shall be made to the Annex of the Decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 2, 2008, No. 1/1 "On Approval of the Regulation on the Procedure for Competitive Distribution of Grants and Credits Attracted for Microfinance through Microcreditbank Between Credit Unions and Microcredit Organizations" (Registration No. 1763, January 31, 2008) (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2008, No. 5, Article 22).

2. This Decision enters into force from the date of its official publication.

ANNEX

To the Decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 24, 2013, No. 2/8

AMENDMENTS TO THE DECISION "ON APPROVAL OF THE REGULATION ON THE PROCEDURE FOR COMPETITIVE DISTRIBUTION OF GRANTS AND CREDITS ATTRACTED FOR MICROFINANCE THROUGH MICROCREDITBANK BETWEEN CREDIT UNIONS AND MICROCREDIT ORGANIZATIONS"

1. In the Decision:
   a) the words "and credit unions" shall be deleted from the title and paragraph 1; b) the preamble shall be stated in the following wording:
   "In accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan' (Information Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1995, No. 12, Article 247), 'On Banks and Banking Activities' (Information Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1996, No. 5-6, Article 54), 'On Microcredit Organizations' (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2006, No. 37-38, Article 372), and 'On Microfinancing' (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2006, No. 37-38, Article 369), as well as the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 8, 2007, No. 114 'On the Program for the Development of Microfinance in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2010' (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2007, No. 23, Article 239), the Board of Directors of the Central Bank decides:".

2. In the Regulation:
   a) the words "Non-bank credit" shall be replaced with the words "microcredit" throughout the entire text;

b) the words "and credit unions" shall be deleted from the title and paragraph 6; c) the preamble shall be stated in the following wording:
"In accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan' (Information Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1995, No. 12, Article 247), 'On Banks and Banking Activities' (Information Bulletin of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1996, No. 5-6, Article 54), 'On Microcredit Organizations' (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2006, No. 37-38, Article 372) and 'On Microfinancing' (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2006, No. 37-38, Article 369), as well as the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 8, 2007, No. 114 'On the Program for the Development of Microfinance in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2010' (Collection of Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2007, No. 23, Article 239), it establishes a single procedure for the competitive distribution of grants and credits attracted for microfinance through Microcreditbank among microcredit organizations.".
