BCB RESOLUTION NO. 469, OF APRIL 30, 2025
Amends the Regulation annexed to BCB Resolution No. 304, of March 20, 2023, with the objective of allowing clearinghouses and settlement service providers to accept guarantees contributed abroad by resident investors.
The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on April 30, 2025, based on arts. 2, sole paragraph, and 10 of Law No. 10,214, of March 27, 2001, and on art. 12 of CMN Resolution No. 4,952, of September 30, 2021, and having in view the provisions of art. 4 of Joint Resolution No. 13, of December 3, 2024,
RESOLVES:
Art. 1 The Regulation annexed to BCB Resolution No. 304, of March 20, 2023, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on March 21, 2023, and corrected in the Official Gazette of the Union on March 28, 2023, shall enter into force with the following alterations:
“Art. 140. Clearinghouses and settlement service providers may accept the contribution of guarantees abroad, provided that their total amount, considering the discounts referred to in art. 139, does not exceed 8% (eight percent) of the total guarantees required by the settlement system.
