BRPD Circular Letter No. 03: Refinance Scheme to Support Cinema Hall Owners
The deadline for participating banks to submit applications to Bangladesh Bank for refinance facilities, after disbursing loans to cinema hall owners under the special scheme, has been extended until December 31, 2024. This extension addresses the challenges faced by many customers and scheduled banks in submitting timely applications due to process complexities. All other instructions detailed in previous circulars and circular letters regarding this scheme remain unchanged, and this directive is issued under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
