BRPD Circular Letter No. 14: Name change of Sonali Bank Limited to Sonali Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank has officially changed the name of 'Sonali Bank Limited' to 'Sonali Bank PLC' in the list of scheduled banks, effective from 14 May 2023 (31 Baisakh 1430), in accordance with Rule 11C(1) of the Companies Act, 1994. This circular serves to notify all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh of the name change and includes a copy of the relevant notification for their information and necessary action.
