BRPD Circular Letter No. 17 exempts bank employees from the travel restrictions imposed by Circular Letter No. 16 for specific purposes, including performing the Hajj pilgrimage in 2022, seeking medical treatment based on specialist recommendations, foreign nationals returning to their home countries or traveling to headquarters, and participating in training or seminars authorized by foreign investors. These exemptions apply to scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh under the powers granted by Section 45 of the Banks Company Act, 1991.
