BRPD Circular Letter No. 53: Name change of One Bank Ltd to One Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank has officially changed the name of the scheduled bank 'One Bank Limited' to 'One Bank PLC' in its list of scheduled banks, effective Wednesday, November 8, 2023. This change is implemented in accordance with Rule 11K(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, and is formalized through Gazette Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(45)/2023-9456 issued under Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. The circular directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to take necessary action regarding this name change.
