BRPD Circular Letter No. 55: Name change of Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd to Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of the scheduled bank 'Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited' to 'Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC' effective Monday, November 13, 2023, in accordance with Rule 11C(1) of the Companies Act, 1994. This change was enacted via Order No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(25)/2023-9608 issued under Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. The circular directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to take necessary action regarding this name change.
