BRPD Circular Letter No. 56: Name change of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd to Mutual Trust Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of 'Mutual Trust Bank Limited' to 'Mutual Trust Bank PLC' in the list of scheduled banks, effective Tuesday, 14 November 2023. This change was implemented in accordance with Rule 11C(1) of the Companies Act, 1994, pursuant to Notification No. BRPD (LS-1)/745(51)/2023-9631. The notification was issued under the authority granted by Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972.
