BRPD Circular Letter No. 60: Name change of Meghna Bank Ltd to Meghna Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of Meghna Bank Ltd to Meghna Bank PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective Monday, November 20, 2023. This change was executed under Rule 11K(a) of the Companies Act, 1994 and Order 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. An attached notification (BRPD(LS-1)/745(66)/2023-9872) directs all scheduled banks to take necessary action regarding this name change.
