Bulletin 2718 - March 25, 2016

Bankers’ Bank Northeast filed an application on March 24, 2016, to organize a bank holding company pursuant to Section 36a-181 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The proposed entity, BBN Financial Corporation, will acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Bankers’ Bank Northeast through a plan of reorganization. Written comments regarding this application must be submitted to Banking Commissioner Jorge L. Perez within ten days of the bulletin's date.

STATE BANK ACTIVITY

Bank Holding Company

On March 24, 2016, Bankers’ Bank Northeast , a Connecticut bankers’ bank, filed an application for approval to organize a bank holding company pursuant to Section 36a-181 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The bank holding company will be organized as the newly formed Connecticut stock corporation BBN Financial Corporation , and will acquire all the issued and outstanding shares of Bankers’ Bank Northeast pursuant to an agreement and plan of reorganization filed with the application.
