Circular 121/2020/TT-BTC on Securities Company Operations
The Ministry of Finance issued Circular 121/2020/TT-BTC on December 31, 2020, to regulate the operations of securities companies, with the regulation taking effect on February 15, 2021. This circular supersedes and renders ineffective Circular 210/2010/TT-BTC and Circular 07/2016/TT-BTC, which previously guided the establishment and activities of securities companies. The regulatory framework is overseen by the State Securities Commission (UBCKNN).
On December 31, 2020, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 121/2020/TT-BTC dated December 31, 2020, regulating the operations of securities companies. This Circular takes effect from February 15, 2021.
Circular No. 210/2010/TT-BTC dated November 30, 2012, of the Minister of Finance guiding the establishment and operations of securities companies, and Circular No. 07/2016/TT-BTC dated January 18, 2016, of the Minister of Finance amending and supplementing certain articles of Circular No. 210/2010/TT-BTC dated November 30, 2012, cease to be effective from the date Circular No. 121/2020/TT-BTC takes effect.
