SUBJECT: ADJUSTMENTS TO TRANSFERS MADE BY STOCK BROKERAGE AGENCIES AND INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT COMPANIES IN THE INTEGRATED PAYMENT CLEARING SYSTEM

The Central Bank of Bolivia informs Stock Brokerage Agencies and Investment Management Companies (SAFI) participating in the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP) that, starting June 26, 2017, the transfers they make must maintain standardized and differentiated criteria in the coding of accounts by transfer purpose. To this end, additional fields have been implemented in the following operations:

00 Does not apply. 01 Charges or debits for Stock Brokerage Agency client resources. 02 Credits or credits for Stock Brokerage Agency client resources. 03 Charges or debits for Stock Brokerage Agency resources. 04 Credits or credits for Stock Brokerage Agency resources. 05 Charges or debits for Investment Fund resources. 06 Credits or credits for Investment Fund resources. 07 Charges or debits for Investment Fund Management Company resources. 08 Credits or credits for Investment Fund Management Company resources.

Furthermore, considering that SAFIs may manage more than one Investment Fund, a special field named "Investment Fund Acronym" is included, in which the code assigned by the Financial System Supervision Authority must be registered; for this purpose, a list of investment funds is attached.

Participants are requested to take this information into account for the configuration in their own software developments as applicable.
