The Central Bank of Jordan amends Instruction No. (2011/54) to include the engineering and architectural consulting sector within the scope of medium-term lending instructions for licensed banks. This directive, issued by Governor Dr. Ziad Fariz, becomes effective on September 20, 2017. The change requires licensed banks to consider this sector eligible for medium-term financing under the existing regulatory framework.

Circular to All Licensed Banks
Greetings,
Continuing the measures taken by the Central Bank to provide medium-term financing to licensed banks with the aim of re-lending to economic sectors, it has been decided to include the engineering and architectural consulting sector within the instructions for granting medium-term loans to licensed banks, Instruction No. (2011/54) dated March 14, 2011, and its subsequent circulars, effective from that date.
