The Central Bank of Jordan amends the Medium-Term Lending Program by reducing interest rates to 1.00% for projects in the Capital Governorate and 0.5% for other governorates, requiring banks to apply these reductions to existing loans. The circular extends the loan tenor to 10 years with a two-year grace period and raises the general loan ceiling to 3 million Jordanian Dinars, while maintaining a 4 million Dinars limit for renewable energy and transport sectors. Additionally, the export sector is included in the program, and these changes are effective as of March 15, 2020.
