The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan mandates that all banks operating in the Kingdom must fully comply with Article 18/A of the Credit Information Law No. 15 of 2010. This directive requires banks to utilize the credit inquiry service provided by CRIF-Jordan for client assessments. The order addresses observed violations where some banks failed to conduct these mandatory inquiries.
