The Malta Financial Services Authority issued a revised version of Banking Rule BR/14 to incorporate a paragraph from the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing Arrangements. This minor amendment aligns the local rule with existing European Banking Authority standards regarding outsourcing by credit institutions. The revised rule comes into force with immediate effect.

The amendments in the Rule are being put forward to incorporate a paragraph from the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing Arrangements (EBA/GL/2019/02), which Guidelines are already applicable through the BR/14.
