The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in an extraordinary session held on February 20, 2025, considering the provisions of Article 4, caput, item VI, of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, Article 15, § 1, of Law No. 7,827, of September 27, 1989, and Article 8-A, § 4, of Law No. 10,177, of January 12, 2001,
R E S O L V E D:
Article 1. The extension of the payment deadline for installments with maturity scheduled for 2025 of rural credit operations contracted or renegotiated by family farmers, mini, small, and other rural producers under the aegis of CMN Resolution No. 5,120, of February 7, 2024, is authorized for up to one year after the end of the contract, provided that the borrower requests the extension of the maturity date and justifies their difficulty in paying the installments in 2025, by June 30, 2025.
Article 2. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
