The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on March 27, 2025, in accordance with Articles 4, caput, item VI, of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, Articles 4 and 14 of Law No. 4,829, of November 5, 1965, and Article 3, § 3, of Law No. 11,326, of July 24, 2006,
R E S O L V E S:
Article 1. Section 1 (General Provisions) of Chapter 10 (National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture – Pronaf) of the Rural Credit Manual – MCR shall enter into force with the following amendments:
“47 - Financing of the expense with the monetary commission required for access to the guarantee of the Investment Guarantee Fund (FGI), in the Emergency Credit Access Program (Peac) modality, and of the Fund for Micro and Small Business Guarantees (Fampe), is admitted in rural credit operations contracted under the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (Pronaf) by agricultural production cooperatives of family farming classified under MCR 10-6-3, provided that:
a) in the case of FGI-Peac, operations up to R$10,000,000.00 (ten million reais) are eligible;
b) in the case of Fampe, operations up to R$875,000.00 (eight hundred and seventy-five thousand reais) are eligible;
c) the financing of the monetary commission referred to in this item applies only to Pronaf credit lines for which cooperatives are beneficiaries, respecting the terms and conditions of the regulation of each of the guarantee funds referred to in this item; and
d) the value of the monetary commission must be stated in the credit proposal or technical project.” (NR)
Article 2. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
