Completion Instructions for Return of Insurance Related Activities (Form MA(BS)15)
Authorized institutions must submit Form MA(BS)15 to the HKMA by the 21st day following the end of June and December each year, reporting insurance intermediary activities conducted by the institutions and their subsidiaries. The return requires data on business volumes, including definitions for new policies in long-term and general business, total commission income, and complaint statistics such as new complaints, resolved complaints, and those requiring further follow-up. Dollar amounts must be reported in HKD to the nearest thousand, and grey cells in the form are auto-generated and do not require input.
