2026-03-24 | BPRD Circular Letter No. 09 of 2026Added · Updated
The Consolidated Customer Onboarding Framework is amended to expand the scope of Roshan Digital Accounts to all non-resident persons, including juridical entities incorporated or registered abroad that qualify as non-residents under the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. This update does not alter the account opening process for non-resident Pakistanis or Proof of Citizenship holders, requiring banks to maintain a seamless customer experience for these existing categories. The instructions become effective immediately, and regulated entities must ensure meticulous compliance with the updated framework.
