DIRECTIVE NO. 05/DSB/DRO/2021
ORIGIN: Department of Banking Supervision (DSB) - Department of Regulation and Organization of the Financial System (DRO) DATE 21/05/2021 SUBJECT: FINANCIAL SYSTEM - Reporting of Information on Credits Granted to Holders of Qualified Participations

Whereas it is necessary to define rules and procedures for reporting information on the total amount of credits granted to holders of qualified participations, pursuant to paragraph 2 of Article 6 of Notice No. 06/2020, dated March 10; This Directive hereby establishes the following:

1. Financial Institutions must submit to the Banco Nacional de Angola a report on the total amount of credits granted to holders of qualified participations, as set forth in Annex "Credit Operations with Qualified Participations and Group-Related Entities", which forms an integral part of this Directive.
2. The report must be submitted monthly by 8:30 a.m. on the 8th day of the following month, in accordance with XML message specifications.
3. For the purposes of the preceding paragraph, until the Financial Institutions Portal (FIP) is available for sending and receiving information as per this Directive, Financial Institutions must submit it in Excel format to the electronic address dsb@bna.ao.
4. Non-compliance with this Directive constitutes an offense provided for and punishable under Law No. 14/21, dated May 19, the General Regime of Financial Institutions Law.

5. Doubts and omissions arising from the interpretation of this Directive shall be resolved by the Banco Nacional de Angola.
6. This Directive enters into force immediately.
