Authorized Dealers in Pakistan are permitted to execute remittances on behalf of local intermediaries or aggregators facilitating digital advertising, IT, SVOD, and digital music services sourced from abroad. Remittances to providers listed in Appendix V-151 are capped at USD 5 million annually, while higher amounts or unlisted providers require prior acknowledgment from the Foreign Exchange Operations Department. Eligible companies must maintain exclusive Pak Rupee accounts for fund collection and submit detailed applications including business models and auditor certificates confirming arm's length pricing for related-party transactions. The regulation prohibits payments involving late fees, interest, digital assets, gambling, or immoral activities, and mandates monthly consolidated reporting of all remittances to the regulator.
