DOS Circular Letter No. 01: Keeping 12th National Parliament Election activities related scheduled bank branches open on 05th and 06th January 2024
Scheduled banks are directed to keep specific branches open on Friday, 05 January 2024, and Saturday, 06 January 2024, which are their regular weekly holidays, to facilitate cash withdrawals for the 12th National Parliament Election. This measure supports the Election Commission Secretariat, Returning Officers, and other election-related bodies in covering election expenses. Staff assigned to election duties at these branches are instructed not to engage in regular banking operations during this period.
