DOS Circular Letter No. 32: Intermission of Banking Services of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. due to Migration to New Core Banking Software
The Department of Supervision grants approval for Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. to temporarily suspend all banking transactions, including branch banking, cheque/EFT/RTGS, POS/ATM, e-commerce debit/credit card transactions, and internet banking, from 11:55 PM on October 29, 2020, until 9:30 AM on November 5, 2020. This suspension is authorized under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991 (as amended up to 2018) to facilitate the bank's migration to a new core banking system. The directive is issued for the information of all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh.
