Draft Regulation to Amend Regulation 41-101 Respecting General Prospectus Requirements
The regulator issued this draft regulation to update references to the legacy SEDAR system within Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements. The amendments replace all mentions of SEDAR and its website with placeholders for the Renewed System across Schedule 1 of Appendix A and Forms 41-101F1, F2, and F3. These changes ensure that regulatory filings and instructions correctly direct users to the new electronic document retrieval platform upon the regulation's coming into force.
REGULATION TO AMEND REGULATION 41-101 RESPECTING GENERAL PROSPECTUS REQUIREMENTS Securities Act (chapter V-1.1, s. 331.1, par. (1), (2) and (34))
- Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements (chapter V-1.1, r. 14) is amended by replacing, in Schedule 1 of Appendix A and under the title “General Instructions”, the words “System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR)” with the words “[Renewed System]”.
- Form 41-101F1 of the Regulation is amended, in item 36A.1: (1) by replacing, in subparagraph (ii) of subparagraph (b) of paragraph (3), “www.sedar.com” with “[insert website of Renewed System]”; (2) by replacing, in paragraph (5), the word “SEDAR” with the words “[Renewed System]”.
- Form 41-101F2 of the Regulation is amended by replacing, in item 37.1, “www.sedar.com” with “[insert website of Renewed System]”.
- Form 41-101F3 of the Regulation is amended by replacing, in paragraph (1) of item 4.1 and paragraph (2) of item 15.1 of Part B, “www.sedar.com” with “[insert website of Renewed System]”.
- This Regulation comes into force on (indicate here the date of coming into force of this Regulation).
