FEPD Circular No. 06: Repatriation facilities by MFSPs to ITES exporters

Mobile Financial Service Providers (MFSPs) licensed by Bangladesh Bank are authorized to repatriate export proceeds for small value ITES exports in association with foreign payment service providers (PSPs). MFSPs must maintain settlement accounts with Authorized Dealers (ADs) and establish standing arrangements with foreign PSPs to channel these transactions. ADs are required to transfer funds to MFSP settlement accounts upon receipt in their nostro accounts, while MFSPs must maintain detailed electronic records and intimate their arrangements to the Payment Systems Department and Foreign Exchange Policy Department.
