Financial Institutions to Notify Relevant Agencies Upon Receiving, Releasing, or Continuing Warning Account Notifications

Financial institutions are now required to notify the Joint Credit Information Center (JCIC) when they receive notifications of warning accounts, or when such warnings are released or continued. This directive is effective immediately. Furthermore, financial institutions already part of the Financial Information Service Co., Ltd. (FISC) joint defense broadcast mechanism must also report this information to FISC in accordance with its regulations. This requirement is based on specific articles of the "Regulations Governing Deposit Accounts and Their Suspected Illegal or Clearly Abnormal Transactions."

To: As per original and copy recipients Issuance Date: August 31, Republic of China (ROC) 115 (2026) Document No.: Jin Guan Yin Fa Zi No. 11502724126 Urgency: Ordinary Security Level and Declassification Conditions or Confidentiality Period: Attachments: Subject: Financial institutions, upon receiving notification of warning accounts, or the release or continuation of warnings, please notify relevant institutions according to explanation two, and disseminate this information. Explanation:

  1. According to Article 5, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2 and Article 10, Paragraph 3 of the "Regulations Governing Deposit Accounts and Their Suspected Illegal or Clearly Abnormal Transactions," banks, upon receiving notification of warning accounts, or the release or continuation of warnings, shall notify the designated institutions as prescribed by the competent authority.
  2. The aforementioned designated institution to be notified is the Joint Credit Information Center (JCIC), effective immediately. Furthermore, financial institutions that have joined the joint defense broadcast mechanism of Financial Information Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as FISC) shall simultaneously report the aforementioned information to FISC in accordance with FISC's regulations.
