The Monetary Authority of Hong Kong has lifted restrictions imposed on Melli Bank Plc under section 52(1)(A) of the Banking Ordinance regarding its Hong Kong Branch. This directive, issued by Acting Executive Director Alan Au, applies immediately to the bank's affairs, business, and property. The decision revokes the measures previously communicated in a circular letter dated 25 June 2008.
