Personal Renminbi (RMB) Business
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issued this circular on 30 March 2006 to regulate personal Renminbi business activities conducted by licensed banks. The document supersedes the previous circular dated 13 December 2005 regarding personal Renminbi business in Hong Kong. It establishes the current regulatory framework governing how licensed banks may offer personal RMB services to customers.
