PS21/24: Enhancing climate-related disclosures by asset managers, life insurers and FCA-regulated pension providers

The FCA introduces mandatory annual climate-related disclosures consistent with TCFD recommendations for asset managers, life insurers, and FCA-regulated pension providers. In-scope firms must publish entity-level reports and product-level metrics, including a core set of climate-related data, on their main websites or upon request to eligible institutional clients. The rules apply initially to 34 asset management and 12 asset owner firms starting 1 January 2022, with full implementation covering 140 asset management and 34 asset owner firms, while firms with less than £5 billion in AUM are exempt from the initial phase. First public disclosures under these requirements must be made by 30 June 2023.
