Registration of Agreements for Remittances Abroad Against Services Received by Star-Rated Hotels
Authorized Dealers must submit applications to Bangladesh Bank to register contracts with international service providers for local star-rated hotels, replacing the previous requirement to apply solely for remittance permission. This procedure applies to services outside the purview of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority guidelines, requiring submission of draft agreements, auditor declarations, tax certificates, and financial statements. Existing agreements must be registered by 31 January 2025, and Authorized Dealers are prohibited from executing remittances for unregistered agreements or those deviating from registered terms.
