1970-11-24 | Resolução CMN 163Added · Updated
Resolution CMN No. 163 raises the limit for consumer or end-user service financing operations to 15% of the total investments of the financing company. It allows financing companies to occasionally waive the requirement for co-obligation by the service provider if substitute guarantees are established and the credit's direction and use are fully proven. It mandates that bill acceptance contracts for service operations specify the company name and link to proof of service provision. Mixed operations involving both service financing and asset acquisition are classified according to the financing type with the higher value.
