On Amendments to the Regulation on Bank Guardianship

This resolution lost force in accordance with the [resolution](/docs/4675345?ONDATE=30.12.2019 00#4676551) of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 13, 2019 No. 30/12 "On Recognizing Certain Regulatory Legal Acts Adopted by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan as Having Lost Force" (reg. No. 3208 dated 30.12.2019).

In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On Banks and Banking Activity", the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan resolves:

1. Make amendments to the Regulation on Bank Guardianship, approved by the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 9, 1998 No. 302 (reg. No. 570 dated December 19, 1998), according to the appendix.

2. This resolution enters into force from the day of its official publication.

Amendments to the Regulation on Bank Guardianship

1. Redraft the [Preamble](/docs/596457?ONDATE=15.04.2013 00#2155302) as follows:

"This Regulation, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On Banks and Banking Activity", determines the procedure for establishing guardianship over banks."

2. In [point 6](/docs/596457?ONDATE=19.12.1998 00#601674):

in [sub-paragraph "b"](/docs/596457?ONDATE=19.12.1998 00#601676) replace the word "produce" with the word "carry out";

[redraft sub-paragraph "g"](/docs/596457?ONDATE=19.12.1998 00#601683) as follows:

"g) creation of a real danger to the safety of funds entrusted to a bank by depositors."

3. In [point 16](/docs/596457?ONDATE=15.04.2013 00#2155311) replace the words "Regulation on Operations between Banks and Persons Associated with Them (reg. No. 556 dated December 2, 1998)" with the words "Regulation on Transactions Concluded with Persons Associated with Banks (reg. No. 2706 dated August 5, 2015)".
