Return of Information for Assessment of Systemically Important Authorized Institutions (Form MA(BS)24)

The Monetary Authority issued Form MA(BS)24 to require authorized institutions to submit data for assessing their systemic importance under section 63(2) of the Banking Ordinance. The return mandates the reporting of specific financial metrics categorized by size, interconnectedness, and substitutability, such as total assets, interbank balances, and customer deposits. Institutions must submit this information to the Monetary Authority no later than four calendar months after the end of each calendar year.
