Returns MA(BS)1E, MA(BS)18 and MA(BS)23

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issues forms MA(BS)1E, MA(BS)18, and MA(BS)23 to require Authorized Institutions to report liquidity monitoring data under the Banking Ordinance. These returns mandate detailed disclosures regarding funding source concentration, unencumbered assets available for secured borrowing, committed facilities, and contractual maturity profiles for both on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet items. Category 1 institutions are additionally required to submit the Liquidity Coverage Ratio by significant currencies to ensure compliance with liquidity stability standards.
