S.R.O. 530 (I)2021 – Amendments in Companies (Incorporation) Regulations, 2017
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan amends Regulation 15(3) of the Companies (Incorporation) Regulations, 2017, by omitting the word “Afghan and” from clause (i) and the words “Afghan or” from clause (ii). This change removes references to Afghan nationals from the specified regulatory provisions. The amendments apply to entities and procedures governed by these incorporation regulations.

Islamabad, April 18, 2022 NOTIFICATION S.R.O. 530 (I)/2021.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 512 of the Companies Act, 2017 (XIX of 2017), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan is pleased to notify the following amendments to the Companies (Incorporation) Regulations, 2017, the same having been previously published vide notification S.R.O. 1493(I)/2021, dated November 16, 2021, namely: - In the aforesaid Regulations, in regulation 15, in sub-regulation (3),- (a) in clause (i), the words “Afghan and” shall be omitted; and (b) in clause (ii), the words “Afghan or” wherever appearing shall be omitted.
