2018-04-16 | Règlement BCL 2018/N°23Added · Updated
The Central Bank of Luxembourg amends its 2014 Regulation No. 18 by deleting point iii) of Article 3(1)(a), thereby rendering commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) ineligible as collateral for Eurosystem refinancing operations. This change aligns national rules with the European Central Bank's decision to exclude CMBS due to their distinct asset and structural risks. The regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and on the BCL website.
