OPERATING RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR OPEN MARKET OPERATIONS Reference is made to the subject mentioned above. In our continued effort of enhancing orderliness, timeliness and transparency in the implementation of our monetary policy, the Bank of Zambia hereby issues the Operating Rules and Guidelines for Open Market Operations (OMO). These guidelines will assist in providing efficiency in the operations of the market. Kindly be advised that these OMO guidelines take effect immediately.
