Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for Publicly-Listed Companies
The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines issued Memorandum Circular No. 4 Series of 2019 to mandate sustainability reporting for publicly-listed companies. The guidelines require PLCs to submit a sustainability report alongside their Annual Report using a 'comply or explain' approach for the first three years of implementation.
