Central Bank of Belize (Amendment) Act No. 15 of 2025
The Parliament of Belize enacted this Act to amend the Central Bank of Belize Act by formally defining the Director General of the Financial Services Commission within the principal legislation. The legislation mandates that the Director General of the Financial Services Commission be appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Belize. This statutory change updates section 11 of the principal Act to include the Director General alongside the Deputy Governor in the composition of the Board.
