Circular No. 29/2025: Easter and World Labour Day Holidays
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 29/2025 to suspend operations in all Palestinian banks on Sunday, 20 April 2025 (Easter) and Thursday, 1 May 2025 (World Labour Day). The directive mandates full closure for all banking institutions in compliance with Article 73 of Banking Law No. 9 of 2010 and the Council of Ministers' decision. Copies have been distributed to key financial regulatory bodies, including the Capital Market Authority, Palestine Exchange, Palestinian Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Financial Monitoring Unit.
