Otoritas Jasa Keuangan mandates that pawnshop and Sharia pawnshop companies submit all licensing, approval, and reporting requests electronically via the OJK data communication network or designated email addresses. The regulation defines specific categories for these requests, including business licenses, ownership changes, and operational reports, and requires the submission of a self-assessment form signed by the Board of Directors. It establishes procedures for technical failures or force majeure, allowing for alternative electronic submission methods, and requires companies to retain printed copies of submitted documents for verification purposes. This circular revokes the previous regulation regarding pawnshop registration and licensing.
