Minimum Disclosure Requirements for Financial Institutions

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe mandates minimum financial disclosure requirements for all licensed banking and non-bank financial institutions, as well as bank holding companies. The guideline establishes standardized reporting formats for balance sheets, income statements, equity changes, cash flows, and maturity profiles, alongside detailed schedules covering capital adequacy and credit, market, and operational risk exposures. Institutions must maintain board-approved disclosure policies, submit half-yearly and year-end reports within specified deadlines, and obtain prior written regulatory approval before publishing their financial statements.
