PS10/26 – Amendments to Resolution Assessment threshold and Recovery Plans review frequency

The Prudential Regulation Authority raises the Resolution Assessment threshold for reporting and disclosure from £50 billion to £100 billion in retail deposits, bringing only the largest firms into scope. For Small Domestic Deposit Takers (SDDTs) and SDDT consolidation entities, the required frequency for reviewing recovery plans is reduced from at least annually to at least every two years. These amendments to the PRA Rulebook and Supervisory Statement 9/17 take effect on 1 April 2026.
