Regulation (NAP) - Bank and Branch Numerator

The Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe issued this Permanent Application Standard to establish a unified coding system for domestic banking institutions and branches, aligning with the existing NIB structure. It mandates that all operating banks be classified under a specific institutional and branch coding framework, with the Central Bank retaining authority to classify new entities. Financial institutions are granted a maximum implementation period of three months from the effective date of January 15, 2003.
